CPR devices are essential gear in nearly every ambulance—used in motion, under pressure, and often in extreme environments. When the CPR team set out to develop a high-performance EMS backpack for their device, they turned to Shell-Case—specialists in building cases that protect life-saving equipment without compromising speed or usability.
We responded with a custom solution that merges multiple materials and manufacturing technologies into one unified system: rugged yet lightweight, easy to clean, and designed for rapid access in critical moments. The result is a field-ready case that meets the demands of first responders—on every call.
01
The case is built from rigid materials, but it’s surprisingly lightweight—and remarkably comfortable. A curved back panel supports ergonomic wear, while multiple carry handles give first responders the flexibility to grab, lift, or strap in however the moment demands.
02
A transparent silicon window allows paramedics to monitor battery status and activate the device—without opening the case. It’s quick, intuitive, and designed for moments when every second counts.
03
In emergency care, efficiency is everything. That’s why we designed the interior layout to match the natural flow of use—so critical components are exactly where responders expect them. Both shells of the case serve as organized storage, giving full visibility and instant access the moment it opens.
04
The outer shell is made from a high-performance polymer that’s both lightweight and exceptionally durable—offering full protection without unnecessary bulk. Created using vacuum forming technology, the shell is also easy to clean and built to withstand the demanding, often contaminated environments where CPR devices are deployed—making it especially suitable for EMS settings.
